Members of the Faribault Police Department will be serving customers between 5 and 8 p.m. March 27 at Crooked Pint in Faribault to help raise money for Special Olympics.
The program – tabbed “Tip-A-Cop” – will feature police officers volunteering their time and teaming up with Special Olympic athletes, while mingling with customers and serving some great food.
The Crooked Pint in Faribault, located at 125 1st Ave NE, agreed to join forces with local law enforcement to support some of the incredible local athletes.
The event does not take away from proceeds to the establishment or its employees, but gives members of the community/customers an opportunity to make a donation to Special Olympics of Minnesota while they are being “served,” as well as meeting the athletes that will benefit from their support.
