This program is meant to be a fun and no-pressure way to build a passion for reading for the fun of it. It is not a tutoring program or homework help. Books will be chosen by the readers from the library's collection or favorites can be brought from home. LittleBigRead meets weekly on Thursdays from 4:00 - 5:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted, on the youth side of the library. No registration is necessary.

The Lakelander Barbershop Chorus, established in 1954 as a chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society, is an award-winning barbershop men’s choir based in Faribault. The choir has won the Southwest Division barbershop choir competition for the past several years. Within the choir are a number of quartets, one of which is also the Southwest Division’s champion quartet, which also performs at their concerts.
