Do you love to sew or would you like to learn to sew? We need your help! Come to a Boomerang Bags Sewing Bee and help us create cloth tote bags for our community's Boomerang Bags initiative!
Boomerang Bags is a grassroots, community-driven movement tackling plastic pollution at its source. Volunteers from all walks of life get together to make reusable ‘boomerang bags’ using recycled materials, as a means to provide a sustainable alternative to plastic bags.
Seamsters under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult sewing companion.
No registration required. Come and sew!
