- Compost Site — 3/28/2012
- The City of Faribault maintains a compost site at 214 NE 14th Street, behind the Wastewater Treatment Plant. Check the signs for designated dumping areas. The compost site will open on Saturday, April 14, 2012, at 8:00 a.m. for the season. Hours of service are: Monday 1:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday 1:00 – 7:00 p.m., and Saturday 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. The site is closed on Holidays.
Rice County also maintains a compost-recycling center. You can call the county's Recycling Hotline at 507-332-6833 or check www.co.rice.mn.us/waste/yardwaste.php for other composting information and options.
