Parks and Rec. launches new registration site

We are excited to announce our new registration system, CivicRec, is now available at Faribault Parks and Recreation! Our team has been working for several months on the launch of this new registration system with the goal to better and more efficiently serve you, our customers. If you have a current membership, your account has been migrated over from our previous system (MaxGalaxy) using the email address we had on file.

To access your new online account, we ask that you do the following:

    Please navigate to our NEW ONLINE CATALOG, click Log In/Create Account in the upper left corner, and click FORGOT PASSWORD. 

•    Input your e-mail address to reset your password and access your account (do NOT create a new account!).

    You will then receive a temporary password to login to your account. Once you are logged in, you can review your Account Dashboard and browse our online catalog, featuring our upcoming fall activities! This is also where you can set up your new password, if you’d like.

If you don't currently have a membership, find below a step-by-step breakdown of ways to get your account up and going. 

You will need to create an account, see instructions below.

  1. Click the "Registration" button in the middle of the Parks and Rec. homepage.
  2. Select Login/Create Account in the upper left corner, then select Create Your Faribault Recreation and Parks Account.
  3. On mobile devices, select Account in the upper right corner and click Sign Up.
  4. Fill out the required information.
  5. To receive text alerts (i.e. class cancellations, facility closings), indicate your mobile carrier next to your cell number.
  6. To receive important notifications, opt-in to receive all communication types (courtesy notifications, critical announcements, upcoming events)
  7. Additional household members (spouse, children, etc.) may be added at any time in your Account Settings. Keep your entire household on one account!
  8. When you've found an Activity, make sure to select the correct account member before adding it to your cart.
  9. Browse our catalog for our facility rentals for your upcoming events and make a reservation online!

 Want to register for a program/activity, see instructions below.

  1. Click the "Registration" button in the middle of the Parks and Rec. homepage.
  2. Select the catalog tab ACTIVITIES.
  3. Browse for the program/activity you are interested in and select it.
  4. Make sure to select the correct account member before adding it to your cart.  This can be found on the right hand side of the screen, where it says ACCOUNT MEMBERS.
  5. Once the program/activity has been added to your cart, click checkout to finish your transaction.
  6. Browse our catalog for our facility rentals for your upcoming events and make a reservation online.

 Interested in renting a facility, see below instructions.

  1. Click the "Registration" button in the middle of the Parks and Rec. homepage.
  2. Select the catalog tab FACILITY RENTALS or PICNIC SHELTERS (which are available for rental March 1).
  3. Browse for the rental you are interested in and select it.
  4. Make sure to select the correct account member before adding it to your cart.  This can be found on the right hand side of the screen, where it says ACCOUNT MEMBERS.
  5. Once the program/activity has been added to your cart, click checkout to finish your volunteer registration.
