The Faribault Parks and Recreation Department unveiled last month its concert in the Park lineup set to kick off on June 16.
The series – a summer staple in the community – continues to benefit the Faribault area by not only building on its reputation as an inviting, art-friendly town, but even more so by enlarging and enhancing leisure options, while also creating additional opportunities to socialize.
While the music has - and always will be - the focal point, we’ve also come to learn Faribault boasts impressive crowds that the musicians thoroughly enjoy performing for.
“These musicians and bands take pride in playing for Faribault because of how interactive and enjoyable the crowds are,” said Faribault Communications Coordinator Brad Phenow, who organizes the series. “This series has become synonymous with summer in Faribault – and for good reason. ”
